The New Zealand fighter registered nearly 20lb more against his opponent as the two top fighters displayed confident poses - even if in opposing manners - ahead of this weekend's headliner in London.
New Zealand's Joseph Parker will put his interim WBO title and shot to fight for the world title at stake facing the unbeaten Fabio Wardley at the O2 Arena.
Reigning top heavyweight the champion has indicated his intention to retain his four belts facing the winner.
"It all comes down to this. It signifies everything," said a serious but zoned-in Fabio Wardley, aged 30, at Friday's weigh-in.
The Ipswich fighter - the holder of the interim WBA title - weighed in at 17st 5lb, matching his latest fights.
"This contest before the ultimate challenge. Every effort is done. Training is ticked off. The grueling sessions is done. Let's get some rest now. Big night coming up," he stated further.
The historic venue in east London saw not just fresh produce on the weighing platform as the both boxers confronted each other for the last occasion prior to the main event.
Parker winked at the camera and moved along to the music.
As he flexed his strength, he looked hefty and strong as he weighed in at eighteen stone ten pounds, just 5lb below than his peak weight.
It is a far cry from the 107 kg fighter who surrendered his belt to AJ in the year 2018.
"We're weary, we're cautious, but I will to match him blow for blow and I'm going to get him," Parker declared.
I operate on a different level and will smash him - Joseph Parker
Fabio Wardley, wearing an Ipswich top, maintained a focused look, nodded to the fans, but looked concentrated.
Despite being the less heavy fighter, Wardley has superb stopping ability. He produced a dramatic turnaround versus Justis Huni in June, trailing on the judges' cards prior to finishing his foe in the final round despite being outclassed for the majority of the contest.
"Joseph Parker, his camp and boxing fans will find out I belong to be at the summit of this weight class," Fabio Wardley stated.
"Each rival has been the one critics say will beat me. This is the one. He is too quick, too fast, highly seasoned. Yet My record is perfect to date, and no challenge will alter tomorrow night."
